Hotel Bottega Boutique

I was a little worried since I had been trying to get a hold of reception a few days prior to confirm hotel. No one answered the phone. Luckily I got a response through their instagram. When we arrived the hotel was not how it was pictured on the website. A lot smaller building and not as “new” as they made it look online. We arrived earlier than check in time and luckily the room was ready so we were able to get settled. Friendly service and good continental breakfast. The room was very clean, good size tv fan and AC. Small balcony with chairs and table to enjoy view. We got the room closest to the main road. Noice was not bad as others stated in reviews. Very quiet atmosphere. Lots of wineries nearby within 5-10 min drive. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

I was expecting less but I got a good surprise. Rooms are clean and the whole installations are well kept it’s a nice romantic place great for a getaway. But nothing is perfect, satellite tv was down and they were not able to fix it but they did their best. It’s in a great location on the side of the road and very close to great food and lots and lots of wine tasting places. This place might not work for everyone but it did work for us. Super cute quiet hotel. Small place so not a crowded hotel. Great place to relax and unwind. Only downside is the entrance to hotel is past the hotel quick right u turn in a dirt road. We missed it. No restaurant on site so prepare to take a good 15-20 min drive to the town.

The hotel feels like staying in the master suite of a large home. Room was spacious and well decorated in a modern style. Downsides were our shower didn’t drain and quickly became a bathtub and the towels had some unflattering stains. Continental breakfast was fine. Not a bad place to stay, but it felt overpriced. Also should note there was nothing to do there and nothing to walk to. Maybe it was just me, but the photos made it seem like a hotel full of amenities when there was really nothing to enjoy but the room itself unless you go for a drive. A more appropriate price point and/or attention to detail would go a long way.

This review is solely on my booking experience I would assume the establishment is as careless as they’re customer service which they do not have. Do not book at this hotel unless your willing to get charged unauthorized amounts on your card without your consent. Two big amounts were charged on my card even before me going to this hotel, I never approved for them to charge my card not once but TWICE. When I tried calling the hotel no one picked up, I’ve been calling for days and NOBODY has picked up, not even an answering machine. I had to void my card and call fraud on my card because of this inconvenience and they’re unreliable staff that does not pick up, I have no idea how they run a hospitality buissness when it’s far from it
